Two works written for the Sibelius Piano Trio and commissioned by Coretet have been recorded by Yarlung Records. David Lefkowitz’s Ruminations and Diego Schissi’s Trio were recorded live at their premieres before a select audience at the Samueli Theater in Costa Mesa. Prominent among those invited to attend were the principal donors to the Coretet commissions.

The two works were highly regarded by those present, one of whom, Philip O’Hanlon, took the recording of Ruminations to Axpona in Chicago to demonstrate his high-end audio equipment offerings. A nice write up appeared in The Absolute Sound, the go-to magazine for audiophiles.
